Rohan Marley Talks Lion Order  Nearly a decade ago, Rohan Marley helped his family take its first steps in the cannabis space, now his personal brand is rolling along strong after launching in Michigan. Rohan is the middle child of Bob Marley’s nine kids. He and Stephen are the closest in age of the group and were born a month apart in 1972. When it was time for the family to start dabbling in cannabis in the mid-2010s following the first successful legalization initiatives, Rohan took the lead. The family founded Marley Naturals in 2014. Marley Naturals was originally a partnership between Privateer Holdings. The brand would have some hiccups as it came to market. The family would buy the rights out in 2019 and take full control. Not too long after, Rohan would get the ball rolling on the cannabis element of Lion Order that recently launched in Michigan after a couple of years of pheno hunting before the flower went into full production. We flew out to Detroit to check out Rohan’s new flowers and hear the lesson...

Fear Factory Returns With Mystery Singer Fear Factory returns with mystery singer: Guitarist Dino Cazares is the sole remaining member of the classic Fear Factory, but still, it’s great to have them back. Bell.“There’s a big organization – let’s call it Skynet – that is capturing humans and extracting their memories and their mind, their consciousness, and basically uploading them into an automaton so it can think it’s human,” Cazares said. “So it’s a relationship between humans and AI. This AI thinks it’s human but it’s not. Through the whole process of Fear Factory, it’s always been a relationship b...

Here’s what history says about 0-2 deficits Seemingly nobody is panicked about the Warriors’ Game 1 loss to the Lakers Tuesday night at Chase Center.Los Angeles was better rested after the Warriors had to beat the Kings in an intense Game 7 Sunday in Sacramento. Death Valley: Woman picks up rabid bat outside store and is bitten A woman who picked up a bat that was “behaving strangely” outside a Death Valley store was bitten and now is being treated for rabies exposure, the National Park Service said. The bat was sitting on a garbage can outside the Stovepipe Wells General Store on Friday, April 29.A store employee picked it up to move it to an area with less foot traffic, and the animal bit her through her rubber gloves.A test determined the bat had rabies, and the employee is undergoing treatment in case she was infected. Rabies can be fatal to humans, and it can be transmitted when the animal’s saliva gets into a wound. The park service’s press release on the incident said at least nine species of insect-eating bats live in Death Valley National Park. Typically, less than 1% of bats have rabies, it said. ‘I am a White person:’ UC Berkeley scholar apologizes for wrongly claiming to be Native American her ‘whole life’ When Elizabeth Hoover was hired as an associate professor by UC Berkeley in 2020, the anthropologist was hailed in the campus media as one of the small but growing number of Native American scholars who could help make the campus a more welcoming place for learning and research into Native American history, culture and contemporary issues. But that promise is now mired in controversy, with Hoover admitting she’s “a White person” who “incorrectly” claimed to be Native American for her “whole life.” The situation has prompted calls for Hoover’s resignation and sparked concerns among her students and Native American scholars about UC Berkeley’s academic integrity and respect for authentic Native identity. On Monday, Hoover issued an apology that confirmed what other Native American scholars and activists had been saying about her for more than than a year — that the Ivy League-educated expert on environmental health and food justice in Nati...
